Anya Hayes

We first discovered Anya through her Instagram account, Mother’s.Wellness.Toolkit (go follow her!) and then her book, The Supermum Myth.

Anya is a mum of two boys and is an author and speaker particularly focused on women’s health and wellness. She is also a Pilates teacher specialising in pregnancy and postnatal, and training to teach Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. She has written five books: My Pilates Guru, A Little Course in Pilates, Pregnancy: The Naked Truth, The Supermum Myth and Pilates for Pregnancy. Check out her website for more about her.

Suzy Reading

Our Founder and Director, Miriam, first discovered Suzy after the birth of her second child. Stress and exhaustion was at an all time high and her health was suffering because of it. After reading Suzy’s book, The Self-Care Revolution, Miriam learnt ways to shift her mindset and make her self-care a priority.

Suzy is a mother of two, a Chartered Psychologist, Yoga Teacher, and Health Coach. She specialises in wellbeing: head, heart and body, helping people manage their emotions, energetic bank balance and the inevitable stresses of life.

It was her life experience of motherhood colliding with the terminal illness of her father that sparked her passion for self-care which she now teaches to her clients of all ages to cope during periods of stress, loss and change and to boost their resilience in the face of future challenges. 

Suzy is a contributing editor for Psychologies Magazine and the Psychology Expert for wellbeing brand Neom Organics. She figure skated her way through her childhood, growing up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, and now makes her home in hills of Hertfordshire, UK. Her first book ‘The Self-Care Revolution’ is out now. Her second book 'Stand Tall Like a Mountain: Mindfulness & Self-Care for Children and Parents' will be out on April 4, 2019 shortly followed by 'Self-Care Every Day' on June 6th.

What’s [The Self-Care Revolution} all about? In a nutshell: I share with you my definition of self-care, take you through my own healing journey and an exploration of the nature of stress and burnout to get clear on why we need self-care. And most importantly, I share with you ‘The Vitality Wheel’ framework that shows you how to actually make self-care happen.

Miriam Greaves

With a passion for birth, mothers and women’s health, our Founder and Director, Miriam, will be hosting and interviewing our panel at our event. After 15 years working in the London and New York theatre worlds, Miriam's life and work was totally transformed after the birth of her daughter in 2014 and her son in 2016. Miriam trained as a hypnobirthing teacher and has been designing and delivering our courses for four years.

She is not only passionate about all things birth, but also cares deeply about preparing and supporting women as they adapt to the fourth trimester...and beyond. Her ambition with Parent Tribe LIVE events is to bring you the most empowered and connected experience to parenthood - from pregnancy, birth, mothering, and all the pursuits of your passions and wellbeing alongside it all. Whatever stage you're at, we want to bring your closer to your inner connection with yourself and reveal to you your own brilliance and capacity.
